Sonia earned a Theater Arts Bachelors’ degree at the University of Iowa. She appeared in plays that includea muse in the The Dance and a journalist in An Honor’s Project. She continues to perfect her craft by taking acting classes at Los Angeles City College. As a native of Kenya, Sonia speaks fluent Swahili, is able to do an English accent, and even plays the African drum, Njembe.

Sonia has appeared in short films such as Consequences of Karmaand No Mercy. She is currently working on the pilot, The Internationals. 

 

In addition to acting, Sonia is also a pop singer/songwriter who has performed in cities around the country. Sonia enjoys writing, boxing, modeling,dancing,and redecorating.
